Diplodocus has pivoted from a 3D charmer to a less novel 2D jump ‘em up for its second Regina & Mac game.

A love letter to Banjo-Kazooie will get my attention, even if it’s written a little clumsily.

As a postscript to my playing all the movie mutant games, I picked up Deadpool. It’s not bad!

To finally round out the X-Men movie game coverage, we have this sidescroller for mobile phones.

On top of the PSP version, Griptonite also made a DS game to tie in to this movie, and they took it in a quite different direction. I like it!

Next: Wolverine on PSP, another separate game under this name… unlike the Wii version, it’s quite good!

Moving down the list, the last-gen version of this movie tie-in game has more to do with the movie but also is pretty dull.

Getting back to X-Men movie tie-in games: It may be cliche in this case, but I enjoyed this one more than the movie!

Yo dude, I've been talking with a friend about games and random cross-references (similar musics, characters, etc.) when we randomly came across your expanded zelda timeline. We thought it was very neat, had some good laughs, and also found a nice addition to the list. This friend of mine remembered that there is a gravestone in the Final Fantasy I (WonderSwan, GBA, PSP and iOS) that reads "Here lies Link". Besides that, there is a ruined temple where you can time travel. Probably fits somewhere
Hmm, interesting point. I’ll consider it when I get around to a new update! After all, the last time we see the original Link is in Captain N, and Videoland is connected to both the Zelda universe and Final Fantasy. And thanks for the kind words :)

I’ve never really played an isometric platform adventure game, but when a love letter to a genre has this much evident passion it gets me interested.

Can a “New” instalment (dumb name btw) live up to one of my favourite N64 games? Turns out yes!

Let’s see just how well this misguided remake/expansion holds up. This will be a long one!
